Berneeda Fedor Tyburski, 81, of Wildwood Crest, died Saturday, Jan. 10, 2009 at the Oceana Rehabilitation and Care Center, Cape May Court House, after a long battle with Parkinson's disease. She was a communicant of Saint Pius X Roman Catholic Church, Forked River. Mrs. Tyburski was a private secretary for Leo Rutenberg and Associates of Kearny until she retired in 1979. Born June 30, 1927 in Duryea, Pa., she resided there until age 7 when she moved to New Jersey. She lived in Kearny where she graduated Kearny High School and moved to the Lanoka Harbor section of Lacey Township in 1979. After her husband's death she resided at the Spring Oaks Assisted Living, Lanoka Harbor.
She was predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Edward A. Tyburski, her parents, Albina and Joseph Fedor, and a brother, John Fedor.
Surviving are 3 sons and daughters-in-law, Paul and Barbara of Wildwood Crest, Peter and Gail of Largo, Fla., and David and Laurie of Miami, Fla.; two brothers, Joseph Fedor of Forked River, Lacey Township, and Paul Fedor of South River; grandchildren, Christopher and his wife, Joan'na of Nutley, Erica and David of Miami, Fla., and a step-grandson, Steven McIntryre of Largo, Fla.
Friends may call from 2-4 & 7-9 Monday, Jan. 12, 2009 at Layton's Home For Funerals, (609) 971-6800, 250 W. Lacey Road, Forked River, Lacey. Relatives and friends of the family are respectfully invited to attend the funeral on Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. from the funeral home, hence to St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church, Forked River, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Saint Joseph's Cemetery, Toms River, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mrs. Tyburski would be appreciated to the Holy Redeemer Hospice, 1801 Route 9 North, Swainton, NJ 08210.
