Betsy Cuozzo Obituary
AGE: 71 • Toms River
Betsy B. Cuozzo, 71, of Toms River, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 29, 2011 surrounded by her loving family at home. Born in Williamsport, Pa, she was a resident of Toms River since 1970. She was a member of St. Joseph's Church in Toms River. Betsy loved life, spending wonderful times with her family; especially her grandsons were her heart and soul.
Surviving are her beloved husband of 48 years, Joseph A. Cuozzo, M.D.; two sons Carmen Cuozzo and his wife Sue and Gregory Cuozzo, M.D. and his wife Elizabeth; two daughters Andrea Smith and her husband William and Betsey Valenza and her husband John Valenza, PhD; her sister Barbara Veitz and her husband David; and her cherished grandsons Anthony, Liam, Joey, Finn, her late grandson Declan, Nolan, Jack and Ethan.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Tuesday, Jan 3, 2012 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main St. Toms River. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church, 685 Hooper Ave. Toms River followed by a committal service at St. Joseph's Cemetery Risen Christ Mausoleum in Toms River. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at [email protected] in Betsy's memory. Condolences may be made by visiting www.andersonandcampbell.com.
