Blair's mom (Ethel) and dad (Jim) took me into their home during summer vacations, when I was young. I treasured the time I had with them. Summer activities consisted of spending time at the Beacon Beach Club and having fun with their clan of friends. Blair was like a little brother, and I enjoyed watching him grow up. I was always amazed how accomplished Blair was at such a young age with anything motorized and challenging. He wanted to follow in his father's footsteps and became a skilled racer. plumber, and creator of wooden artifacts.
He will always be remembered by me as the cutest, impish, energetic, and entertaining young boy i ever knew. In his later life, he and Kate brought their wonderful daughter, Sam, into our lives. I know he regarded her as his finest legacy, and we will always be grateful to him for that.
Peace be with you Blair and to your family --Your Dad Jim, Kate, and Sam. Their comfort comes from knowing you will be embraced by the loving arms of your Mom and Val.
