Bruce Johnson Obituary
formerly of Neptune
Bruce C. Johnson departed this life October 13, 2016. He was a graduate of Neptune High School NJ, joined the United States Navy in 1972 and retired in 1992 with the rank of AMHC (Navy Chief).
He moved to Texas with his wife in 1999 and joined Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church. Bruce is preceded in death by his father William H. Johnson; brothers, Bradley E. and Timmy B. Johnson.
He is survived by his wife Geneva; mother Grace V. Johnson; sister Penny Batchelor; brother Bart Johnson; Aunts Gloria Henriques and Vita Richardson and best friend, Gary Brooks.
A Memorial service was held on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church with internment at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
