Carl Samuels Obituary
AGE: 69 • Ocean
Carl Samuels, 69, of Ocean, slipped away peacefully June 22, 2015 at Jersey Shore Hospital in Neptune, NJ. He was surrounded by loving family. Carl was a resident of Trenton, NJ during his adolescent years and attended Trenton Public Schools. He was a star basketball player at Trenton Central High School in the 60's. Carl loved all type of sports especially basket basketball and enjoyed collecting coupons and selling oils. Carl was retired from Pathmark Warehouse in Rahway, NJ.
He is predeceased by his mother, Rebecca Samuels and his eldest brother Isaac Samuels. He is survived by his two daughters Tracy Lashley of Ocean and Michelle Nobles of Neptune. Three siblings Louis C. Samuels (Vallerie), Jean M. Peterson (Terry) of Trenton, NJ and Wade Samuels of Maryland.
Five grandchildren: Carl Lewis, Jaleesa, Ayana, Michael, and Robert. His dear friend Robin Levy. He also left behind a host of nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held on July 11 in Neptune City for close friend and family only.

Carl and I had some interesting conversations and I always enjoyed them. Things of the past and hoped we would get to know each other better. So I look forward to furthering our conversations when he is resurrected in the near future. In the mean time he will be missed.

Uncle Carl was a smooth cat. He always gave me tips on how to shoot the ball and never be afraid to take the last shot. He always supported me during my career in sports at AP High, His encouragement will never be forgotten.
