Carl Steidel Obituary
AGE: 67 • Atlantic Highlands
Carl J. Steidel, 67 of Atlantic Highlands, NJ. Entered into eternal life on Friday, June 24, 2016 at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel, NJ. He was born in Queens, NY and resided in Shrewsbury, NJ before moving to Atlantic Highlands. Mr. Steidel worked as a project manager and lead designer for Lawrence Schreiber AIA, in Lakewood for many years. He also received his BA degree from St. Peters College in Jersey City, NJ. Mr. Steidel was predeceased by his parents, Carl P. & Margaret Steidel.
He is survived by his wife, Elsie Quast Steidel, a son, Carl Steidel and wife Jody of Lewiston, Maine and three grandchildren, Gavin, Lyra & Roslyn Steidel.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11:30 AM from Posten's Funeral Home, (www.Postensfuneralhome.com) 59 E. Lincoln Ave. at Central & E. Garfield Ave. Atlantic Highlands.
Relatives & friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Tuesday, 6 - 9 PM. Interment - Fair View Cemetery, Middletown, NJ. Messages of condolences may be e-mailed to [email protected] and will be received by the family.

Carl will surely be missed. I will always remember him as such a happy guy. He was always upbeat and humming a tune at work, and he made the office a better place to be.
