Carol Fornicola Obituary
Carol E. Fornicola, 84, lifelong resident of Long Branch, NJ, died on April 25, 2020. At the time of her death she was residing with family in Pooler, GA. Carol was the devoted wife to the late Lawrence Fornicola, Sr. Carol worked most of her life caring for children at the Brunswick Bowling Lanes. Most recent, you could find her behind the counter assisting customers at the Homestead Pharmacy. She was greatly missed at the time of her retirement. Carol is survived by her two sons, Lawrence Jr, his wife Denyel and his two children; Anthony, his wife Christa and their two children; five great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Carol was predeceased by her son Michael in 1987. Due to current restrictions, there will be no church service. Graveside internment will be held May 25, 2021 at Woodbine Cemetery 14 Maple Ave Oceanport NJ at 2:00 in the afternoon. All are welcome to attend. In lieu of cards or flowers, the family asks that a donation be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of your choice.

When I met Carol, I just moved few houses from her. I was just 4 years old and 2 little girls waited on our porch to see if any new little girls moving in in 1941. We grew up together, both had 3 sons too. In our old age we'd meet Homestead Pharmacy and we had a standing joke. We'd say "are you pregnant?) Miss you. RIP

I didn't know Carol passed. I lived down the street from age 4. She was one of 2 kids waiting on porch to see new kids moving in. Friends for years. Both had 3 son's, both lost one, both lost husbands...we always joked saying the other was pregnant...yeah, even old age. RIP my friend.
