Casey I thought I'd leave a funny memory instead of a sad one....standing next to you for years in drumline, we sat at a 5 min break in a 100 degree mid day sun... everyone mad, you were frustrated with me for most likely a million reasons haha, but I in return was eating bugs to gross you out...lol and it actually made you cringe and laugh....lol.....that was a funny memory...I hope your at rest, and your beautiful daughter will carry your flame...rest in peace

Casey was my best friend growing up. We shared a love for reading and I still remember hiding our books in our text books so Mr. Hughes wouldn't catch us not paying attention in 5th grade. I have a feeling he knew all along. We grew apart in middle school but I will always have such fond memories of her. My heart breaks for her family and especially her daughter. My thoughts and prayers go out to them during this difficult time.
