Catherine Stippel Obituary
AGE: 69 • Lakewood
Catherine A. Stippel, 69, of Lakewood, died Sunday, Sept. 29, 2013. Catherine worked for the Asbury Park Press for many years, retiring in 2006. She was predeceased by her husband, Donald in 1996; her parents, Eugene and Anna Solovikos; and her brother, Theodore.
Surviving are three aunts, Madeline DeSarno, Dorothy Ulenski, both of Neptune, Harriet Burner of Neptune City; several cousins and close friends.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 4, with a funeral service at 7:30 p.m. at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Salvation Army, 1738 Route 37 East, Toms River, NJ 08753 in her memory would be appreciated.

I was so sorry to learn that Cathy had passed away. She was such a sweet person. I worked with her on the Credit Union here at the Press for many years and she was a very special person. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
