AGE: 58 • Howell
Charles "Chaz" Blasko, Jr., 58, of Howell died peacefully from ALS at home on Thursday, Oct. 24, 2013. He was born in Monvalley, PA and resided in Matawan before moving to Howell over 20 years ago.
He is survived by his wife, Darla; his daughter, Trisha; his brother and his wife, Milan and Diane.
Visitation will be held on Saturday from 6-8 PM at the DiCostanzo family owned and operated, Lakewood Funeral Home, 6250 Highway 9, Howell with his funeral service at 7:30 PM. For further information, please visit: www.funeralhomenj.com

Dear Darla & Family,
My deepest condolences to all of you. Meeting Chaz & Darla at the support group meetings was an honor and a privilage for me. My mother is up there with open arms for him. He always had that smile (like Mom) no matter how he felt. He always gave the thumbs up. Chaz,I give you the THUMBS UP ! God bless you !!

My deepest sympathy to Darla,Trish and Milan, I pray the Lord will comfort you during this difficult time. I had the pleasure of being a close friend with Chaz for over 25 yrs.We worked together in the steel mill we worked together outside the mill and spent much time together in the last few years before he encountered his illness. In the last few months I saw him at ALS support meetings and he was still the same old Chaz. With his speech and his nmobility declined he still had a smile and that same positive attitude. He is in a better place now and we will all miss him deeply.

Chaz was very respected by his co-workers. I shared a lot of laughs with him and was as hard working as they come. It was an honor to have known him.

Worked with him at the Steel Mill ...played on a flag football team with him for a few years ...Good Man ..met his wife and him in Disneyworld once...... He was a good man ......
