My dad was a kind and generous man who will be missed by all who knew him.
I will always remember the 4th of July picnics a the Kjeldsens, the holiday family dinners when we were growing up. To see the joy on his face with the birth of every grandchild and how proud he was of them and they of him. He taught me how to be a respectable caring adult and I know that this has carried on to my children.
I will miss his advise, his laughter, his big bear hugs and kisses, and his kindness but I know that he is in a better place and one day we will see each other again.
I love and will miss you always dad!
Love you,
Janet

One of the best things about my dad was his sense of humor. My dad and I were big honeymooners fans and throughout my life whether I was home or stationed overseas we would always break into honeymooners dialogue. Some of the fondest memories of my dad is when we would go fishing with my grandfather and uncle willy. We went on many vacations when I was a kid ,one very memorable one was our trip to Orlando, florida. It was 1973 during the energy crisis, He drove down in my grandfathers Cadillac. During that trip we stopped at a hotel with reasonable prices but there was no air conditioning so the owner said they had a nice pool. My dad said to him “what am I supposed to do sleep in the pool?”.we didn’t stay at that hotel.
Frank Sinatra was mentioned a lot in the Mohr household growing up, he was my dads favorite singer .So anytime I ever hear a Frank Sinatra song I will think of my dad singing along.
My dad was always there for me when I needed him even when I was stationed overseas if I needed something like a part for my car he would have the part for me a few days later.
I miss my dad very much, he was my Ralph Kramden to my Ed Norton, and I’m sorry that I couldn’t get you buried at the Racoon national cemetery in Bismark North Dakota. If your reading this and don’t follow what I’m saying my dad would and that’s all that matters.
Love you Dad,
Chuck

One of my best times with Charlie was when he took us girls to dinner and to the Oldies concert. He was telling everyone in the restaurant where he was taking us. we had such a good time. He will be missed by us all. My thoughts are with you all. Just remember you will always have the memories to hold close to your heart.
