CHARLES A. VITALE
AGE: 72 MARLBORO
Charles A. Vitale, 72, of Marlboro, died Thursday, October 14, 2010 at home surrounded by his wife and children. Born in New York he resided in Hazlet for 35 years before to moving to Marlboro 6 years ago. Before retiring in 2005, Charles was the CEO of Affiliated Car Rental Company for 23 years. He was a communicant of St. Gabriel's Roman Catholic Church, Marlboro and the treasurer of its St. Vincent DePaul Society.
Charles is survived by his loving wife, Lu of 50 years; his mother, Josephine; three sons and two daughters-in-law; Charles and his wife Mary, Peter, Stephen and his wife Betty, his daughter and son-in-law; Christina and Craig Howard, sister; Joanie Scalamandre and 13 grandchildren.
Friends and family are invited to attend a visitation at the Freeman Funeral Home 47 East Main Street, Freehold from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm on Friday, October 15th. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated Saturday, 10 am at St. Gabriel's Church, 100 North Main Street, Marlboro. Entombment will follow in the parish cemetery. Should friends desire memorial donations may be made to St. Vincent DePaul Society of St. Gabriel's Church, 100 North Main Street, Marlboro, NJ 07746.
