Claire Caruso Obituary
AGE: 82 • Lavallette
Claire A. Caruso (Harris), 82, of Lavallette, NJ died on Sunday, March 18, 2012 at Community Medical Center, Toms River, NJ. Born in Clifton, NJ she lived in Glen Ridge, NJ moving to Lavallette in 1989. She had summered in Lavallette since the 1950's. Claire was an Administrative Secretary with Upsala College in East Orange, NJ for many years. She was an active Parishioner with St. Pio of Pietrelcina RC Church, Lavallette, NJ and also a member of their Rosary Society. She was a past president of the Lavallette First Aid Ladies Auxiliary. Claire worked on the Ocean County Board of Elections and on the Juvenile Conference Committee, Ocean County.
Predeceased by her husband, Thomas and her daughter-in-law, Kathy. Survived by her two sons, Richard and his wife Kathy of NC, and Stephen of Boca Raton, FL; six grandchildren, Brian, Mike, Scott, Karin, Mark, and Kevin.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 from 2-4 & 7-9pm at The Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 706 Grand Central Ave., Lavallette, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, March 22, 2012, 10am at St. Pio Pietrelcina RC Church, Lavallette, NJ. Burial will follow to Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa, NJ. Donations may be made to the Lavallette First Aid Squad Ladies Auxiliary Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 334, Lavallette, NJ 08735. Condolences may be sent by visiting www.ryanfuneralhome.com

To The Caruso Family, I would like to express to my condolence to your family. These times could be expressed as difficult times hard to deal with but if you draw close to our Heavenly Father he will draw close to you (1 John 4:8). And he himself will sustain you. Draw comfort from him he will be there for you during this time of distress.
