(Asbury Park Press)

CLINTON LEO STONEHAM
AGE: 67 WITH RELATIVES IN MONMOUTH COUNTY
Clinton Leo Stoneham, 67, passed away Thursday, Dec. 10, 2009, at his home in Mandeville, La.
He leaves behind his wife, Sandy; and his sons, Scott (wife, Joy) of Baton Rouge, and Brock of New Orleans. He is preceded in death by parents, Charles and Hilda Stoneham, and a sister, Patricia Nemeth. He is also survived by two brothers, Charles (wife, Darlene) of Eatontown, and Thomas (wife, Jan) of Long Branch; and two sisters-in-law, Marcia Ogren (husband, Bob), and Beverly Ruth of Kansas City, Mo., along with many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends throughout the U. S. and Europe.
Clint was born and raised in New Jersey and started his flying career in Texas, which eventually brought him to New Orleans, where he lived in Mandeville for over 18 years. He was an avid fan of the LSU Tigers and the New Orleans Saints, but Clint's two biggest passions in life were his family and his love of being a pilot. He was always grateful to do what he loved during a 30-year career spanning from his training in the U.S. Air Force to a professional career in commercial and corporate aviation, making life-long friends along the way.
A memorial celebration will take place from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12 at his home, 261 Evangeline Drive, Mandeville, LA 70471. Please sign the family guestbook online at www.ejfieldingfh.com.

To the Stoneham Family,
I was saddened to learn about Clinton's death. As a young child we lived in the barn on the Stoneham's property on Reynolds Dr. Clint's parents were very good to us and I have such fond memories of our friendship. My family, The Erbs had a farm on Reynolds Dr. which later my dad, Val Erb built us a home. We went to LBHS together and Clint graduated two years before me. Please know that I am thinking of all of you at this time of great sorrow.
In sympathy and friendship,
Valerie Erb Oakland
