Bayville - Cortney Michelle Barry of Bayville New Jersey died at home due to complications from a chronic condition. She was 35 years old. Cortney was born in Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, New Jersey to Frank and Nancy Barry. She attended St. Jerome's Elementary School and Red Bank Catholic High School, graduating Class of 2003. Cortney was a loving mother with an infectious laugh and vibrant, magnetic personality. Cortney was outgoing, funny and generous, endearing herself to everyone she met. She was a talented hair stylist who worked for many years at Professional Hair Design in Eatontown, NJ. Cortney was a creative person, who showed talent for both writing and photography. She enjoyed being outdoors, particularly with her young children, who were the light of her life and her heart's joy. She is survived by her son, Frank Daniel Burruss, step children Arianna and Jake Burruss, sister Victoria Barry, brother in law Devin Heitmueller, niece Cynthia Barry Heitmueller, nephews Lowell Barry Heitmueller and Kane Renda, her aunt Diane Fay, her grandmother Catherine Barry, cousin Holly Fay and many loving friends. Services will be held on Friday May 21st 2021 at 1pm at Ely Funeral Home at 3316 Rt. 33, Neptune NJ 07753. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to a fund for her children's future and help them maintain stability in this difficult time.
