AGE: 99 ? Manchester
Daniel P. Dorrzapf, 99, died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2011. Born in Jersey City to the late Frank and Margaret Steinhauser) Dorrzapf. He resided in Leisure Village West, Manchester for several years with his wife, Mildred, who preceded him death in 1991. He is also predeceased by his brothers, Anthony Dorrzapf Sr. and Frank Dorrzapf and his sister, Helen Engels. In 2005, he moved to Herndon, Va. to live with his nephew, Anthony F. Dorrzapf Jr. and wife Mary. He is also survived by his niece, Joyce Hoyer of Toms River, great-nephew, Anthony F. Dorrzapf III and wife Angela of Centerville, Va., great-great-nephews, Michael and Thomas Dorrzapf, great-great-niece, Helena English, great-great-great-nieces and nephew, Leila Wolford-Dorrzapf, Lillian English and Lucas English, all of Centerville, Va.
Visitation is Friday, Feb. 4 from 5-8 pm at Adams-Green Funeral Home, 721 Elden St., Herndon, Va. Funeral Liturgy is Saturday, Feb. 5 at 11 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 750 Peachtree St., Herndon, Va. Family will also receive friends Tuesday, Feb. 8 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Oliverie Funeral Home, 2925 Ridgeway Road, Manchester. An additional Funeral Liturgy is Wednesday, Feb. 9 at 10 am at St. John's Church, 619 Chestnut St., Lakehurst, with interment to follow at Whiting Memorial Park, Whiting. Memorial donations may be made to St. John's Church Scholarship Fund, 619 Chestnut St., Lakehurst, NJ 08733.
