Dawn Conover Obituary
AGE: 46 • Freehold
Dawn E. Conover, 46, of Freehold, died Tuesday, January 3, 2012, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold NJ. Dawn was born to James E. Conover, Sr. and Mary (Marlow) Conover in Neptune, NJ on June 2, 1965 and was raised and educated in Freehold, NJ. Dawn, nicknamed "Sunshine" for her sunny disposition, worked for several Freehold area stores as a customer service representative until becoming disabled in 2008.
She is predeceased by her father, stepfather Nathaniel McDonald Sr. and a brother Leonard Conover. Surviving are her mother Mary B. Conover-McDonald; three brothers Louis Conover of Newark, James Conover Jr. (Judy) of West Orange, and Nathaniel McDonald Jr., Freehold; two sisters Marian Conover-Burke (George) and Marlena Conover, Freehold, and a host of relatives and friends.
Services will be held at Higgins Memorial Home located at 20 Center St., Freehold, NJ 07728. The viewing will be from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 11am. Interment will be at Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold.

I just read about Dawny. I am so sorry to hear. I know she will be missed. My deepest sympathies from my Jean, Mike and myself. She has done her work here on Earth and God has called her home to be with him. I will truly miss her now more than ever. Much love and best wishes to you all.

My deepest condolences to the Conover family. I met Dawn years ago at Pathmark and we continued talking and emailing each other while she worked at Shoprite. There were many times
while I shopped I would go over to her lane to cash out when I had a few things in my cart to give her a break. We would strike up conversations and make each other laugh all of the time. Oh how her smile would light up the room. When I was told of her passing it hit me hard. Dawn was like a younger sister and she will be missed. Once in awhile I would see her mother and sister in Shoprite. I send you and your entire family all of the love, prayers and thoughts during this time of need.

Dawn was the sweetest woman you would ever want to meet. She was always so cheerful. She always offered you kindness, friendship, and helpfulness whenever you needed her.
