Dolores Uzzolina Obituary
On August 9, 2021 Dolores Uzzolina, age 94, got her wings and went to walk with the angels. Born on Feb 15, 1927 in Belleville NJ, Dolores spent most of her life living in Bloomfield before retiring to Brick NJ in the late 1980's.
Predeceased by her Mother and Father, Viola (Hoenhle) and Pasquale Torsiello, her loving husband Christopher Uzzolina of 70 years and her sister Patricia (Torsiello) Domenick.
She is survived by her brother, Mel Torsiello, her son, Frank Uzzolina, and daughter Christine (Uzzolina) Laday, Grandchildren Danielle (Laday) Kouzoukas, and her husband Demetrios, of Virginia, Christopher Uzzolina and his wife Joann Uzzolina of Millville, Jon Marc Laday of Bloomfield, and Alyssa (Moss) Leonard of Florida, great-grandchildren: Frank, Anthony, Matthew, & Noah Uzzolina, and Stella & Carissa Kouzoukas. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family and friends were Dolores' passion and delight. She always had a smile, cup of coffee and a treat ready for any and all who stopped at her door.
Visitation is Thursday 4-8pm at the Megaro Memorial Home 503 Union Ave, Belleville (megaromemorialhome.com). Mass 10am St. Peters Church Belleville, followed by entombment in Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Dolores and Chris were always kind and happy whenever we would visit with them. My children and I have many happy memories of them.....my husband Jim always enjoyed spending time with them as well. I remember Jim and the kids would go out on the boat with Chris and Jim would come back shaking his head saying" he drives so damn fast". Maybe they are all laughing and speeding around in that boat together now!
