Janet,
I'm so sorry for your loss. I can't believe it! We'll miss Don at our Perkins luncheons. I owe your husband a lot. He was a very special guy. If it wasn't for his assistance when I first started working at the Press, I could have never lasted all the years I did. In fact, I had your job. Just know that my prayers are with you and your family.
with my heartfelt sympathy,
Patty Scott

To the Sciarappo Families,

It is saddens me to read of Don's passing. I knew Don from the Asbury Park Press. I shall remember him as the "picture of health" and good living that he was. I don't believe he ever called out sick once in all the years he worked at the Press. I admired his dedication and integrity. I appreciated the fact that he was always eager to explain new things in a friendly and patient manner and with a soft sense of humor. From little stories here and there… I know that Don was very proud of his family. Always the gentleman, Don was a pleasure to know.

My most sincere sympathy,

God Bless You Don... may you rest in peace. Don was a beloved friend and colleague of many years at the Asbury Park Press to many people. His loving gentle way was only one of his multiple qualities as a leader, manager and most of all friend... May he and his family find comfort in the loving arms of God's love.
