Earl Campbell Obituary
AGE: 64 • formerly of Matawan
Former Matawan NJ resident, Earl Campbell, 64, of Sandy Springs, Ga., died Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2011, at Northside Hospital with family by his side. Mr. Campbell was born Sept. 5, 1946 to Thomas and Mary Campbell in Berkeley, Calif. He attended St. Mary's High School, Perth Amboy, continuing his education at Monmouth University. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was a lifelong member and past exalted ruler of the Old Bridge Elks Lodge #2229. He was an accountant, entrepreneur and pioneer in the field of computer programming.
He is survived by wife, Janice Campbell; two daughters and their spouses, Kelly and Fred Moyle, and Heather and Steve Bruchey; three grandchildren, Jake, Korinne, and Charlotte; and a large extended family of brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 14 until the memorial service at 3:30 p.m. at The Gundrum Service "Home for Funerals", 237 Bordentown Ave., South Amboy. Private family interment will be held Monday, Aug. 15. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Earl Campbell to Atlanta VA MC, Voluntary Service (135), 1670 Clairmont Road, Decatur, GA 30033. Arrangements by SouthCare Cremation Society and Memorial Centers, Alpharetta, Ga.

My heartfelt prayers to the Campbell Family. I went to SMHS with Earl and our group and made some wonder-filled memories. He was a one-of-a-kind guy back then. Hopefully, these wonderful memories will give you strengh and hope to get though this most difficult time.
