Edwin Veselis Obituary
AGE: 75 • Howell
Edwin R. Veselis, 75, of Howell, passed away Sunday, Nov. 6, 2011, at his residence. Edwin was born in Neptune Township and had lived in Ocean Grove before moving to Howell 23 years ago. He was a purchasing agent for Concurrent Computer, Oceanport and also worked as a cable programmer for Cablevision in Monmouth County. Edwin was a former member of the Colts Neck Volunteer Fire Company and the Turkey Swamp Rod & Gun Club.
He is survived by his wife, Sheila C. Veselis of Howell; two daughters, Cynthia Woolford and her husband, Forrest of Freehold, and Theresa Givens of Red Bank; a stepson, Kenneth Cairns and his partner James Vecchione of Ocean Grove; a stepdaughter, Patricia Chris of Toms River; three grandchildren, Kristen, Heather and Julia; and a great-granddaughter, AnnMarie.
Visiting will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2011 at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, 2011 at the funeral home. Interment to follow in Monmouth Memorial Park, Tinton Falls, NJ. I was so sorry to hear of the loss of Ed. I met Ed in 1993 and had the pleasure of working with him for ten years. I'll always remember him as being a kind, caring man with a great sense of humor and love of his family. He will surely be missed by many.
