Eleanor M. Krystofolsky Niznick, 93, of Toms River, New Jersey, passed away Friday, April 25, 2014 in the comfort of her home. She was born and raised in Plymouth, Pennsylvania, moved to Elizabeth, New Jersey then to Toms River, New Jersey in 1984.

These words of wisdom are the same ones that our mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Eleanor M. Krystofolsky Niznick, lived by. Known for her sweet personality and her joy of life, she enjoyed the simple things that many people seem to forget. She won our hearts and those who she encountered with her happy and uplifting demeanor. Eleanor's faithfulness and generosity will forever be remembered and her unforgettable love will always live on in our hearts. A devoted mother, Eleanor worked for different companies over the years, including CO2 Company and retiring as a supervisor for Holiday Cleaners in Elizabeth, New Jersey.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Matthew Frances Niznick, and 11 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her daughters, Lorraine Truan, Donna DaSilva and her husband Manny DaSilva. Her grandchildren, Marissa Verderrosa, Manny DaSilva, Matthew DaSilva and Christina Gengaro; and her great-grandchildren, José DaSilva, Jason Verderrosa, John Verderrosa, and Nicola Gengaro.

Services will be held at Silverton Memorial Funeral Home, 2482 Church Road, Toms River, NJ. Visiting Monday 2-4 and 7-9 followed by a Christian Burial on Tuesday at 9:15 am at St. Luke's RC Church, Toms River. Arrive at the funeral home at 8:15.
