Elinor Snider Steinberg

AGE: 87 • Freehold

Elinor Snider Steinberg, 87, of Freehold died Friday, February 24, 2017 at The Manor, Freehold Township. Mrs. Steinberg was born in Long Branch and resided in Freehold for most of her life.

She was a member of the Oglensky-Jackson Post No. 359, Jewish War Veterans of the U.S.A. Auxiliary, and a past volunteer for the American Red Cross and March of Dimes.

She was predeceased by her husband Jack Steinberg in 1993, parents Leon and Frances Snider and grandparents Max and Ellen Snider.

Surviving are four children Joyce A. Lieberman and husband Marvin, Harris I. Steinberg and his wife Angela; Carl N. Steinberg and wife Risa; and Glenn H. Steinberg; and two grandchildren, David and Allyson. Steinberg. Elinor also leaves behind her extended family of Casey and Clayton Fillian and their children, Mia and Madden and Erin and Dennis Schonbachler and their children Henry and Stella and many cousins and family members and friends.

Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to CentraState Hospital Foundation - The Manor or such other charities of your choice.

Graveside services were held at the Hebrew Benefit Society Cemetery, Freehold under the direction of the Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold.
