I worked for Liz and her husband in the late 90's. Liz was a wonderfully talented woman. She had this brilliant charm of always being pleasant and cheerful, in a genuine way, even when she wasn't. Liz baked desserts that to this day I haven't seen matched. Most of all she was incredibly insightful and aware of exactly who was who in the store. I'll never forget how she took her husband to the back after he gave us deli workers our "Christmas bonus" and schooled him in a lesson in class. He came moping back, head down, with another suitable hundred dollars.
Thanks Liz,
Sincerely

We are so sad to hear that Liz left us. She was such a joy to work with at Readie's. Her laugh and smile lifted many a busy, stressful day for all of us. She was one of the very special people that I was blessed to know in this life.
Even though we haven't seen her in a little while, knowing that she's no longer out there, making someone's day a bit brighter, somehow seems to dim the sunshine just a bit.
Our deepest sympathies to Jack and everyone in Liz's extended family and all who had the distinct pleasure to have known her.
