Elsie Falkinburg Obituary
AGE: 72 • Lakewood
Elsie W. Falkinburg, 72, of Original Leisure Village, Lakewood, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2011. Born in Belmar to the late William and Dorothy Hill, she was raised there and was a longtime resident of Brick. She has lived in Lakewood for the past 10 years. Elise was vice president of Falkinburg Septic Service, Point Pleasant, and for over 30 years worked as an AVON representative. She loved playing Bocce Ball, Mahjong, and BINGO.
She was predeceased by her significant other, Philip Bruce Johnson; and by her brother, William Hill. Surviving are her son, Colin Falkinburg of Point Pleasant; her daughter, Jamie Anderson and her husband Ben of Jersey City; three stepchildren, Page Falkinburg, Rory Falkinburg, and Sally Jane Smith and her husband Paul; her sister, Dottie Jean; and three grandchildren, Casey, Samantha, and Alexis.
Friends may visit from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 17 at the Pable-Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road, where at 8:30 p.m. a service will be held. I met Mrs Falkinburg when I officiated at the funeral of her companion Bruce Johnson. She was a very nice lady. My prayers for her family and friends and all who miss her. May her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
