Emily Conway Obituary
Emily Heil Conway, 81, passed away peacefully on June 15, 2021. Emily was born in Keyport, NJ where she resided before moving to Middletown to raise her family. After graduating from The University of Vermont she began her teaching career at Madison Township High School before moving to Taylor Business School and then Keyport High School. Taking a break from teaching, Emily became the office manager at the Seagull's Nest on Sandy Hook, making lifelong friends and becoming a second mom to so many of the "happy snackers". Those closest to her knew of her amazing talents in the kitchen and her ability to whip up an elaborate and delicious meal in the blink of an eye. But nothing meant more to her than spending time with family and friends. Her door was always open, and you always felt so welcomed. Becoming a grandmother was her proudest accomplishment and she wore the title of Grammy so proudly.
Emily is preceded in death by her parents, William and Edna Heil. She is survived by her brother John (Eileen) Heil, her three children David (Beth) and Reid (Amy) Conway and Melinda Gravell as well as four grandchildren: Kylie, Zack, Rosie and Jack.
A memorial service for Emily will be held on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm at Evergreen Memorial Funeral Home, 1735 Route 35 Middletown, NJ 07748. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Alzheimer's Association would be greatly appreciated.

I have so many truly special memories of my best friend that I will cherish always. The fact that you
are no longer here will cause me deep pain, but you are forever in my heart until we meet again. My deepest heartfelt sympathies to the family. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
