Long Branch -
Ethel Kisty of Long Branch passed away on February 11, 2020 at Monmouth Care Center at the age of 94. Ethel was born to the late Aaron Koi and Elizabeth Neimet Koi on December 16, 1925 in Ashtabula, OH. She grew up as the seventh of nine children and at the age of 12 the family moved to Mercer, PA where she spent the rest of her childhood growing up on a fully functional farm.
Her employment career began at the age of 17 starting at a steel mill, National Malleable. She was also a successful sales representative for Stanley Home Products, a realtor, a demonstrator for Big-Box stores and retiring after 25 years from Lyons VA Medical Center in Lyons, NJ in Dietetic Services.
Ethel is survived by her daughter, Sheila Carey; granddaughter, Samantha Vuono and her husband Michael; a grandson, Elijah Carey; great grandchildren, Ava and Thomas and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her canine companion, Candy.
All services were private. Her final resting place is at Clover Leaf Cemetery in Woodbridge. Memorial donations may be sent to Monmouth County SPCA, 260 Wall St., Eatontown, NJ 07724. Letters of condolence may be sent through the web at www.damianofuneralhome.com.
