Gail R. Bufano

AGE: 60 • Fair Haven

Gail R. Bufano, 60, passed away on Monday, March, 19, 2012, at St. Barnabas Hospice Palliative Care at Monmouth Medical Center. She was born in Englewood, lived in Cliffside Park before moving to Fair Haven 32 years ago. Gail loved to travel and spend time with her family and friends.

She is predeceased by her parents, Anton and Lillian Kabobjian; and her husband, Anthony P. Bufano Jr. Surviving are her three sons, Anthony P. Bufano III and his wife Julie of W. Long Branch, Joseph P. Bufano of Fair Haven, and Nicholas A. Bufano of Fair Haven; her daughter, Elena Bufano Zifchak and her husband Michael of Fair Haven; her brother-in-law, Robert Bufano and his wife Annette of Fair Haven; her two sisters, Nancy and her husband Matthew Halton of Cliffside Park, and Dorothy and her husband Manuel Depointe of E. Greenwich, Rhode Island; her two grandchildren, Claudia and Rocco Bufano; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 22, 2012 at the John E. Day Funeral Home, 85 Riverside Ave., Red Bank. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, March 23, 2012 at the Church of the Nativity in Fair Haven. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Middletown. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent in Gail's memory to the American Cancer Society, 801 Broad St., Shrewsbury, NJ.
