AGE: 86 • Manchester

Gerda Denker Gneiding 86 of Leisure Knoll, Manchester died Sunday, October 30, at home.

She was employed for 32 years with the Citizens First National Bank, Ridgewood first as a bank teller, then as Executive Secretary to the President and Bank Chairman before retiring in 1993. Born in Bremen, Germany, she lived for most of her life in Waldwick before moving to Manchester 17 years ago. She is predeceased by her husband, Warren Gneiding who died in 2003. Surviving is a daughter and son in law, Carol and Leo Belovitch of Springfield, VA, her sister, Hilda Marada of Hemet, CA, and her grandson, Michael Warren Belovitch. Visitation will be Thursday from 2-5 pm at the Oliverie Funeral Home, 2925 Ridgeway Road, Manchester. A funeral service will be held Friday at 10:30 am in the Chapel at the Brigadier Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown . In lieu of flowers, please make all memorial donations to the American Heart Association, 1 Union Street, Suite 301, Trenton, NJ 08691.
