Gregory Koons Obituary
AGE: 60 • Monroe Twp.
Gregory C. Koons, 60, of Monroe Twp. died Monday, July 2, 2012 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in New Brunswick, Mr. Koons was raised in Jamesburg and lived in Klingerstown, PA before moving to Monroe Twp. in 1999. He was employed for the past 29 years as a carpenter for the Lantis Construction Co., Monmouth Junction.
He is predeceased by his wife, Catherine in 2011; his parents, Wilmer and Jean (Deibert) Koons and his two
brothers, Richard and William. Surviving is his son, Eric of Saylorsburg, PA; three sisters, Sharon Aguinaldo of Somerset, Dolores Koons of North Brunswick and Brenda Lee Koons of Windsor Twp., NJ and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held Friday, July 6 at 10 am at the Lester Memorial Home, 16 W. Church St., Jamesburg. Burial will be in Fernwood Cemetery, Jamesburg. Visiting hours for family and friends will be Friday from 8 am until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Cancer Institute of NJ at www.cinj.org.
