Harold Thornton Obituary
HAROLD THORNTON
AGE: 64 LAKEWOOD
Harold Thornton, 64, of Lakewood, passed away at Kimball Medical Center in Lakewood on Friday, June 11, 2010. He was born in Long Branch. Harold lived in Red Bank and Keyport before moving to Lakewood in 1996. He worked for Dupont in Parlin, as a chemical operator for 38 years. He was a member of Cathedral International of Asbury Park, and was also a member of the NAACP.
Harold was predeceased by his daughter, Robin. He is survived by his beloved wife, Jeanette Thornton; his daughters, Lisa of Maryland, and Rouchelle and her husband Reginald of Virginia; his five sons, Harold of New York, Stephen of Colorado, Brandin of Washington, D.C., Jared of Virginia, and Antwone of N.J. Harold is also survived by his 19 loving grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday June 17, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at Cathedral International of Asbury Park, 1400 Grand Ave., Asbury Park, with funeral services to be held at 12:00 noon. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the Cathedral International Children's Ministry, 277 Madison Ave., PO Box 1608, Perth Amboy, NJ 08862. Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, Toms River, is in charge of arrangements.
