JACQUELYN MAY
AGE: 66 FREEHOLD TWP.
Jacquelyn May, 66, of Freehold Township passed away Monday, Oct. 26, 2009 at Bayshore Community Hospital in Holmdel. Born in Passaic, she resided in Freehold Township for the past 40 years. Mrs. May was a teacher for 30 years at Eisenhower School in Freehold Township prior to her retirement in 2000. She was a member of the NJEA and Freehold Twp. Education Association. Jacquelyn enjoyed playing tennis and spending time on the beach. She was a loving mother and wife.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth of thirty-one years and two sons and a daughter-in-law, Andrew of Freehold and Robert and Jan Caputo of Point Pleasant; a brother, Charles Niclaus of Nazareth, PA; and dear friends Gail and William Cargiulo of Freehold.
Calling hours will be Thursday 7:00 - 9:00 pm at St. Mary's R.C. Church, 1 Phalanx Road in Colts Neck with a Funeral Liturgy Friday at 9:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at St. Gabriel's Cemetery in Marlboro. Memorial donations may be made to St. Mary's Church Building Fund. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Freeman Funeral Home in Freehold.

Dear Ken,
My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time as you all remember this incredible woman who endured these past years with grace, dignity and even a sense of humor in the midst of all her suffering.
I am glad that Jackie enjoyed my reading, and I appreciated her comments about "Good accent!" if I were doing an imitation, or her corrections when I'd mispronounce something - like the name of some type of dog!
Even last week, when I gave Jackie communion after our reading time (which always had to end before Oprah!!) , she said "God bless you" to me!
May the light that she shared with others bring light to others in turn.

When I was in college, I subbed at Eisenhower and Mrs. May was always extremely helpful to me. She was involved with the student council and the kids adored her. I have the fondest memories of her, My best wishes to Rob, Mr. May and the entire family.
