Jason as a co-worker was both hard-working and fun-loving. It is hard to find a better combination. I will miss his smiling face, his generosity of spirit and his ability to laugh - even at himself. I will miss him sneaking into my cubicle for some chocolate candy and am sorry I didn't try his homemade hummus. I thought I'd try it the next time he made it. That never happened. Thanks for everything, Jason. May you rest in peace. I hope you are singing your heart out. My sincere condolences go out to his family. Please know he was an important and valued member of our team.

Jason would have been pleased to see so many of his family and friends gathered together. He was a special person in my life and his legacy to me is, "If you love it -- music or a person or anything! -- let it show!"

Jason and I studied together at Gratz College. I was glad to see him again just this past summer as a fellow member of the Cantors Assembly. He was extremely dedicated and determined and loved Jewish music. His enthusiasm never wavered. We will miss him.

My family and I would like to offer our condolences to the Goldberg family. I became friends with Jason at the WOW gym in East Brunswick over the last year, and I always appreciated how energetic, humble, supportive and encouraging he was. He clearly applied himself fully in his various pursuits, and I found him to be an inspiring young man. I am greatly saddened that his life has been cut short, but I am honored to have had the privilege to call him a friend. Jason, I will continue to take inspiration from you in the years to follow.

Jason & I worked together for the state. He kept me encouraged in losing weight for my wedding in September. And thanks to him, i did manage to lose a few pounds! I kept him quite busy as I brought in sugary snacks for us both to "cheat" at times. :) I will truly miss him & his encouraging words. May your family find comfort in knowing you will be missed, but never forgotten!

We met during a two month Hebrew summer course in Haifa. Jason was fun to be with, he could express his talent for comedy even in Hebrew. You literally could talk with him about G-d and the world, and I will miss the chats we had since on facebook.

I went to Gratz college with Jason and he was certainly one determined student and hard worker. So sorry he didn't get to fulfill his dream of being a cantor. He died way to soon... My condolences to the Goldberg family from me and my husband Ari. May he rest in peace.

I met Jason in choir, a very hard working guy. His biggest critic. He never gave up. I rem he made all shore and by junior year all state. I still rem how excited he was that morning when he found out. He hugged all of us in the senior lounge. For 3 yrs he was the tenor II always standing in front of me. Still rem his role in the spring 94 musical where he wore the gr8 cape. We were never the best of friends but I always respected him for his dedication and determination

Our deepest sympathy for Jason's family and friends. Jason was a friend, who I had the pleasure of getting to know first in Hebrew School, then High School and while working for the State. He did the blessing over the challah at our wedding in 2007. He was a terrific person who we will never forget. We are so very sorry for your loss.

I had the honor of teaching Jason while he was a student at Freehold Township High School. He was diligent, driven and very well spoken. We were lucky enough to reconnect on Facebook years later where he told me of his future plans in religion. I will never forget how appreciative a student he was for everything his teachers did with him to help him achieve his goals. When he graduated, he gave all of his teachers a tree planted in Israel in our names. We will keep his memory in our hearts and minds. This was a life cut too short. He will be missed.
