Jean Motel Obituary
AGE: 75 • Middletown
Jean M. Motel, 75, of Middletown, NJ was received into the arms of our Lord on Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2012. She was born in West Hazleton, PA. Jean was a communicant of St. Mary's RC Church in New Monmouth, NJ. She was a former treasurer for Mater Dei Prep High School and a member of the Adoration Chapel at St. Mary's and Mary Mother of God Churches.
Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Kathleen and David Westcott of Doylestown, PA; daughter, Diane Motel of Middletown, NJ; sister and brother-in-law, Antoinette and Kendall Hughes of Ashland, NH; and nephews, Jason, and Stephen and his wife Crystal.
Jean was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Theodore R. Motel (1999) and her parents, Anthony and Isabel Olawski. Jean loved to travel and celebrate special occasions. Her joyous outlook on life, generosity, loyalty, compassion, limitless love for her family and friends, and her ability to touch everyone she met in her own special way is what defined her. She was a fun loving person with a heart of gold who was everyone's mom, grandma, aunt, and friend.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 2, 2012 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, 115 Tindall Road, Middletown. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at 8:45 at the funeral home. A Funeral Liturgy will follow at 9:15 am at St Mary's Chapel, 26 Leonardville Rd., New Monmouth, NJ. Committal services are scheduled for Saturday at 2:30 pm at Bonin Funeral Home, 542 N. Wyoming St., Hazleton, PA 18201. Jean would just light up my day. I would look so forward to seeing her every week. I was truly blessed to have her in my life. I will miss her so deeply. My prayers are with her family.

Kathy, Diane, David, Toni, Ken, Jason, Steve and Crystal. "Aunt Jeannie" was a wonderful, energetic person. She was very caring and thoughtful of others. She will be both missed and remembered by many. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time.
