Jeanne Convery Obituary
AGE: 71 • Brielle
Jeanne C. Convery, 71, of Brielle, died Monday, October 20, 2014 at Brandywine in Brick. Born in Elizabeth, she lived in Manasquan before moving to Brielle. Mrs. Convery was a 1961 graduate of Manasquan High School. She loved living at the shore and enjoyed going to the beach in Manasquan as often as possible, Riddle Way beach was her favorite.
Mrs. Convery worked for Brielle Dry Cleaners. She was a member of Manasquan United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Brielle First Aid Squad.
Mrs. Convery was pre-deceased by her husband, Edward in 2007 and is survived by her daughters, Mary van der Net of Brielle and Jennifer Pruett of Barnegat; five grandchildren, Olivia, Michael, Rosemary, Willem and Mara. Also surviving are her brother, Van Height, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Friday, October 24, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Neary-Quinn Funeral Home, 39 South Street, Manasquan, NJ. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at 10 am at the funeral home. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Brielle Fire Company, Brielle First Aid Squad or the Alzheimer's Association's Walk to End Alzheimer's (Team Brandywine at www.alz.org). The memories come flooding back. The summers at the Beach, Riddle Way, of course. The kids all playing together. The first aid calls, working Brielle Day. Celebrating holidays, Fourth of July, clam bakes at the Brayne house.......Time passes, we get involved in our own lives, things change, but those memories are forever in my heart! May you rest in peace, dear friend, I will see you again on the other side. My sympathies to Mary and Jennifer and your families.
