I very much enjoyed speaking with Joan everyday while waiting to pick up our son Trevor from Gregory School. It was with great sadness that I had learned of her passing. She was a truly wonderful, kind and very funny person whose presence will be deeply missed. Our prayers are with you during this difficult time.

Many memories of this fine woman in my heart. Any trip north was never complete if I did not get to see her at her crossing guard site...even if the visit w/her was short...it was always well worth it to my heart and my being... she was family and family that I loved.
Aunt Joan, praying you're blessed and that your heart is overwhelmed as Jesus joyfully welcomes you into his home. Love Jim Fisher
