Dear John,
This Thursday marks year number 4 since you left us. I think of that night always and remember asking you to help me lift you up from the floor after falling out of bed. I never thought that would be the last time I spoke to you although you never spoke back to me , you did get up. It is so very hard not having you here .You are so greatly missed by your family and friends. Please send me a sign that you are near. Love you Always and Forever, Joann

We were deeply saddened to hear of John's passing and we offer our most heartfelt condolences. We really enjoyed being in Johns company. I remember fondly all those visits to Bradley Beach when I was a kid and how much fun we had. John always made us laugh and also encouraged us to study hard in school. He touched many lives!

Love,

Dad, You were the greatest role model. The way you lived your life, raised your family, showed unconditional love towards everyone is something I will hold in my heart forever. I am so proud of your legacy and of all of the lives that you have touched. I am still in disbelief of the hundreds of lives you had an impact on. I will always cherish all of the stories and simple ways you left an impact on each of these lives. I am so pleased that I was able to share you, my dad, with the world. You will always be in my heart, thoughts, and now my forever guardian angel. Please watch over all of us. Especially Mommy and Charlee. You were best friends to both of them. Now they have each other. You can never be replaced. But together as a family we will get through this. May you Rest In Peace. I am forever grateful that I had you as my Dad. Until we meet again....bye, bye, bye

Love forever,
Lori

Many times I can remember saying hello to a man with a smile a man who was always working a true gentleman yes it was John. He would stop in at my mother work in Seaview Square Mall and enjoy his small reward of a free sample of Fanny Farmers candy. Knowing him and his family was a honor as John was a role model to many young people in Bradley Beach. To his family be proud of him for he lived by the great works of the church and was always ready to help. Rest now my brother job well done faithful and wise servent.

John was a man I knew only from the golf course. You can learn a lot about a person when you golf with them. Their temperment, sense of humor, and the quality of their character. John was wonderful. Never disappointed with a bad score, always smiling and never in a bad mood. I once saw him take a couple of hundred strokes, ok, not Jack Nicklaus. But he persevered. He threw out that score, called it a practice round and moved onwards. We would often talk politics and tell jokes. Mostly joking about his twin brother Joe. One was older, one was smarter, one better looking, one was etc, etc. What I take away from knowing John is this. He was a beautiful man. He loved his family and friends. He was a stand up guy and I was proud to know him. He will be missed. I know how much he loved the Christmas season and decorating his home. That was his way of showing his love to friends and neighbors and his family. He would always go on about how everyone would pitch in to help decorate his house. He was a lovely man. You will be missed, John.

Words can't express how I'm feeling right now. I started to work in the Catalog Department for John at Sears in 1973, I was only 17 years old and John was my first boss. Later, I worked for John in the Men's Department where we continued with our friendship in and out of work. John and I would plan to have the same day off from work so we could work on remodeling his and Joanne's first house. John was the big brother that I never had and I will always have those memories of the good times that I spend with John and his family.
