JOHN ESTOK
AGE: 86
LITTLE EGG HARBOR
John Estok, 86, of Little Egg Harbor, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, March 17, 2010. Mr. Estok was born in Trenton. He was formerly of Hamilton Square and Ship Bottom before moving to Little Egg Harbor in 2006. Mr. Estok was the owner of Estok Plastics from 1962 to 1989. He was an elder of the Hamilton Square Presbyterian church. He was a member of the Gothic and Mercer Masonic Lodge and a Past Master of Loyal Lodge # 181 F & AM. In addition, he was a member of Crescent Shriners, Tall Cedars of Lebanon, and Crescent Court Royal Order of Jesters. Mr. Estok was the president of Hamilton Township Lions Club from 1969-1970.
Mr. Estok is survived by his wife, Doris (nee Hutchinson) of 65 years; one daughter, Jill Perkins of Ship Bottom; and one granddaughter, Kelly Perkins of Gaithersburg, Md.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 3 at the Masonic Home Chapel, 902 Jacksonville Road, Burlington. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for contributions to the Holy Redeemer Hospice, 1228 Route 37 West, Toms River, NJ 08755 or The Masonic Charity Foundation, 902 Jacksonville Road, Burlington, NJ 08016, in Mr. Estok's memory. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Bugbee-Riggs Funeral Home, Barnegat.
