John Hode Obituary
Toms River, NJ - John A. Hode passed away at his home in Vero Beach, FL on Friday, November 27, 2020. John grew up in South River, NJ where he met his beloved wife Frances of 55 years in High School. He was a Petty Officer in the United States Navy from 1958-1961. John and Frances then moved to Forked River, NJ where he raised his children until retiring with his wife to Toms River, NJ and Ft. Pierce, FL. John worked at Revlon Cosmetics in Edison, NJ where he retired after a long and distinguished career. He then worked at Viking Yachts in New Gretna, NJ. He was also a lifelong member of the Knights of Columbus.
John was predeceased by his wife, Frances, in 2017. He is survived by his son, John C. Hode, daughter Marisa Speck and son-in-law Stephen Speck as well as his grandchildren Sydney, Brielle, Christian and Alyssa. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
