I am so sorry for your loss. Uncle John was such a wonderful man and I have so many happy memories of him over the years. He was such a happy and generous person and I am still in shock that he has left us.
All of my memories from the Kursch side of the family involve Uncle John. He was such a great husband to Gerry and Maureen, a wonderfully proud father of his beautiful daughter and son-in-law, Christine & Keith and a loving grandfather to his gorgeous grandchildren. He was also so caring of his parents and his mother-in-law (Nana) - he just took care of everyone. He will be sorely missed. Gone too soon. I am very, very sorry....

Maureen,
It is with great shock and sadness that we heard the news about Johnny. We send our sincere sympathies to you.
I am full of wonderful memories of Johnny (to me he is always Johnny). I remember weekends at Montauk point and BBQs at my parents house. He was always so full of life . . . he shall live on in my memory.
I cherish our get together in New York . . . I guess that was about two years ago. I had told Diana stories of Johnny for years and she left that encounter with warm feelings for the two of you. That evening will stay with me and Diana always.
I am so happy that the two of you were able to get together and enjoy each other.
So, we wish you comfort and hope it helps to know that others share your sadness.

I knew John through my father, Ed Marks. Sorry for your loss. John had such a good sense of humor and it sometimes showed up in the ice creams he dreamed up for the Screamers conventions. May the Lord be evident to you as he wraps his arms around you to comfort you.
