JOSEPH DUDASH
AGE: 86 PERRINEVILLE
Joseph Dudash, 86, of Perrineville, passed away Monday, July 13, 2009, at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital, New Brunswick, with his family by his side. Born in Newhall, W.Va., he lived in North Brunswick prior to moving to Perrineville 20 years ago. Joseph served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II. He was an engineer for Picatinny Arsenal, located in Sparta, retiring in 1982.
Joseph is survived by his wife Gertrude of 58 years; three daughters, Patricia and her husband Richard Nieliwocki of Millstone, Barbara Ferenzi of Jackson, and Katherine and her husband John Slisky of Jackson; and six grandchildren, Amanda and Kyle Nieliwocki, and John, Joseph, Alexandra and Rebecca Slisky. Joseph is also survived by his sister, MaryAnn DeAntonio of Bordentown; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, July 19 at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, DeBow Chapel, 150 West Veterans Highway, Jackson. A service will take place at 11:30 a.m. Monday, July 20 at the funeral home. Burial will follow to Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Joseph to The Department of N.J. Marine Corps League, Operation Shoebox NJ, P.O. Box 273, Somerville, NJ 08876.
