Joe, I was lucky to have you as a friend. I will always remember BS/GS CCS Camp, going to your school dances, all the time we spent together as teens. I'm grateful to have found you again after 17 years and the time we spent together. You lifted my spirits and made me smile the weeks after the death of my mom early March 2009. Thank you for all you did for me. I only wish I was able to spend more time with you over the past few months.

My very deepest condolences. I have many wonderful memories of Joe from the Diocesan Retreat. He was great fun to be with. I remember his Eagle Scout court and celebrating afterward. I had newly gotten my license and I drove a van full of scouts in full uniform from the church to your house. I remember he and his buddies singing "You've lost that Lovin' Feelin'" and we girls loving it! I will miss him.

You were the smartest man i ever knew. I loved seeing you cause you were such an amazing person and kind-hearted man. If anyone ever needed any help on anything, you were the go-to-man. You were king, honest, helpful, and it just isn't right. Yo're going to be sorely missed by everyone who met you. I loved playing cards with you and talking to you. I just can't believe that you're gone.
