Joyce Barbara Duncan Chevalier was called back to be a member of the Lord's choir of angels on Saturday, June 9, 2012. Born in Asbury Park, NJ, December 26, 1933 to Alberta and Edward Duncan. She was a lifelong resident of the area. "JB" was a member of the Lincroft Presbyterian Church. She was a church elder and a lifelong member of the choir. Her voice praised God to the delight of all who heard her. A successful business woman, JB was president of Duncan Associates, Accounting, retiring in 2010 after 33 years in practice. She was a world traveler visiting every continent. Her travels included all of Europe, the US, Australia, and the entire Pacific rim.

She is survived by her loving husband, Vernon F. Chevalier, Sr. of Sayreville, NJ; sons, Joseph Caprioni of San Carlos, CA and Michael Caprioni of Lincroft, NJ; brother, Alexander Barrah of Oceanside, CA; niece, Jamie Burtoff and nephew, Brant Barrah both of Carlsbad, CA; aunts, Mille Bennett of Venice, FL, and Janet Cook of Woodinville, WA, and many, many cousins scattered across the country. She loved, and was loved, by her family, extended family, and dear friends.

Cremation will be private. The Rev. Steve Bennett, JB's cousin will officiate a memorial service celebrating her life on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 11am at the Lincroft Presbyterian Church, Everett Rd. & West Front St., Lincroft, NJ with reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, JB's family requests a donation be made in her name to the Lincroft Presbyterian Church, Everett Rd. & West Front St., PO Box 328, Lincroft, NJ, 07738 so that they may continue God's work. Francioni, Taylor & Lopez Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
