Michael Dwayne Chevalier was born on February 13, 1962, and passed away on February 2, 2026, in the town where he was born, Gilmer, Texas.

Mike devoted 42 years of his life to Upshur Rural, where he held the position of Administrative Services Manager until his retirement.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Melissa Chevalier of Gilmer; daughters, Brianne Donaho and husband Justin of Gilmer, Emily Chevalier of Gilmer; brother, David Chevalier and wife Diane of Gilmer; sister, Charlotte Overstreet and husband Stan of Longview; grandchildren, Brynlee and Jace Donaho; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
