Kevin Thompson Obituary
AGE: 29 • Egg Harbor
Kevin P. Thompson, 29, was a Petty Officer Third Class in the United States Navy stationed at Little Creek Naval Base, Norfolk, VA. Kevin previously spend three years in Guam attached to the USS Frank Cable. He was a 2005 graduate of Manchester Township High School where he was a member of the football and wrestling teams.
Kevin was the beloved son of Joan (Miller) Thompson, Toms River, and Robert A. Thompson, Egg Harbor, and sister of Kristen Thompson, Toms River. He will also be sorely missed by his aunts, uncles, and cousins. Kevin was predeceased by his grandparents, Edward and Kathryn Miller and Alex R. and Peggy Thompson. Kevin was known for his generous heart, quick wit, and constant smile. Though taken much too soon, Kevin's proud family and friends will continue to celebrate his life through all the great memories he left behind.
Family will receive friends on Sunday, April 23 from 3-7 pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd, Toms River, NJ. A Funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, April 24 at St. Joseph RC Church, Toms River, NJ. Burial will follow at BG William C. Doyle Veteran Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ. Donations may be made in Kevin's honor to Wounded Warriors. Condolences may be sent by visiting www.ryanfuneralhome.com.
