Dear Karen and Paul,
You have our sincere condolences on the passing of Larry. He was a very good Seaside friend of ours and always stopped in to say hello when he came down.He would always suggest ways of get the job done and one of the many times he hooked up his car with a chain he kept in his car and pulled out a dead bush in the front of my house.
The biggest compliment I can make to Larry is that he was a good husband a good father and a good friend. God Bless him. We will miss him.

Larry was a friend that most people wish they had.

Larry, Diane and a group of friends took square dance lessens with us. Karen joined us in her playpen. We were a lot younger then, and danced for many years, became part of each other's families. Fun and good times were part of our lives.

When we retired, we moved to North Carolina and Larry (many times with Diane) never missed a year visiting us here. The last time was in February of this year. We were having medical problems, and as he got into his car his last words were "If you need me, just call and I will come down".

He meant so much to us. We will miss him. Our condolences to Karen and his family.

Larry and I have been friends for many years, going back to square dancing and Diane. He loved life and and his wife and Karen. He enjoyed his friends, worried about them when they had hard times and helped wherever he could. He was part of my life and we met wherever we could, either here on the Westcoast or at the Molly Pitcher Inn in Red Bank where we had our martinis and lunch, overlooking the sailboats and waters of the Navesink. He was a person who will always stick in your mind and you will never forget him. Take care of wherever you are Larry.

This is one of the hardest things I have ever had to do. Larry was a great friend. His memory will always be in my heart.
He was an extremely unique individual. He was a people person, ideally suited to his career as a salesperson. He could walk up to a total stranger and hold a conversation with that person for an hour or more.

He could also be totally exasperating. When he and I were driving from one place to another, Larry would invariably poke around various neighborhoods just looking at the neighborhoods and the people who lived in them. No trip was ever a straight line from here to here.

One of my fondest trips was when my wife Nancy and I, visited him and Dianne in Thousand Oaks, CA, just after Hoechst transfered him there to take over the LA sales territory. I remember one afternoon sitting in his developments spa with him sipping martinis from a pitcher, while the girls canvassed the neighborhood looking at the new homes being built.
When we were ready to leave for NJ, Larry insisted that we take his car and drive up the pacific coast highwat to SF and fly home from there leaving his car at the airports parking lot. We took two days for the sightseeing trip taking in sights like the Hurst Castle, Carmel, big Sur, the Redwoods and SF. We met Larry at the airport and gave him back his keys. Only Larry would be so generous.

Another time Dianne arranged for a time share in Alcopulco with our with Nancy, Larry, and I and Larry's brother, Paul, and his wife, Ann. It was another memorable trip.

Larry and I and another friend Ron fished in Alaska about eight times, Woolaston lake in farther Northern Canada, the Florida Keys, and Cabo San Lucas.

He will be sorely missed, but we were lucky to have such a great person as a friend
