Lillian R. Webber

AGE: 95 • Manahawkin

Lillian R. (nee Janssen) Webber, 95, of Manahawkin passed away peacefully on February 15, 2012. Born in Hoboken in 1916, Lillian grew up there and in Jersey City with her four brothers and sisters. She married the late Thomas C. Webber and together they raised her beloved sons in Jersey City and then in Bergenfield. Upon retirement Lillian and Thomas moved to Barnegat in 1981 and then to Manahawkin in 2005. For many years Lillian was a member of the Prime Timers of Barnegat. She also enjoyed crocheting and sewing. Lillian was a wife, homemaker, mother, grandmother and great -grandmother who will be greatly missed by all who knew her and loved her.

She was predeceased in death by her parents, George and Lillian (nee Luthner) Janssen, her brother, George, and in 1981 by her beloved husband of forty-two years, Thomas C. Webber. Lillian is survived by her loving sons and daughter-in-law, Thomas R. and Deborah Webber, Manahawkin and Robert C. Webber of Jackson. Her sisters, Ruth Simons, Newport Ritchie, Florida, Gloria Koglin of West Palm Beach, Florida and brother and sister-in-law, Albert & Joan Janssen of West Palm Beach, Florida. Her granddaughters and their husbands, Melissa and Juddson Billie of North Whitehall, Pennsylvania, and Ashley and Sean Quilty of Phiiadelphia, Pennsylvania and her grandsons, Kyle, Kevin, Ryan and Matthew Webber of Jackson, New Jersey, her "princess" Kendall Billie, her great granddaughter and many nieces and nephews. Lillian was known to all as "Nanny".

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 20, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, and on Tuesday from 9-10am at the Maxwell Funeral Home, 573 Mill Creek Road, Manahawkin. Funeral Service will be held at 10am Tuesday, with interment following at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Tom, Debbie, Bobby. Sorry about your mom and our Aunt Lil. She was a very lucky lady to have you around for all those years. She will be missed but you have plenty of great memories she left behind. Prayers go out to your families from Florida.
