Linda Ryan Obituary
AGE: 45 • Old Bridge
Linda Ryan (nee Vitale), 45, of Old Bridge passed away on August 6, 2012, at Robert Wood Johnson Univ. Hospital in New Brunswick. Born in Newark she resided in Old Bridge for most of her life. She attended Kean University earning a bachelors degree in business and later Seton Hall University were she earned a master degree in Communications. Linda worked for Johnson & Johnson for 22 years as a Manager of Political Programs.Linda enjoyed reading, skydiving and spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her children Taryn Marie Ryan and Trevor James Ryan, her parents Charles and Kathleen Vitale of Old Bridge, sister Dina Reszkowski and husband Thomas of Old Bridge, her nephew Christopher Reszkowski, boyfriend Joseph Kobryn and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 9 from 5-9 P.M. a the Old Bridge Funeral Home, 2350 Rt 516, Old Bridge. A funeral mass will be offered on Friday at 10AM in St. Ambrose Church followed by entombment in Holy Cross Cemetery, East Brunswick. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Linda's name to the American Cancer Society by visiting www.cancer.org. or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital by visiting www.stjude.org.

I remember her like it was yesterday. I didn't know Linda very well but it was always a good day to see her smile and once in a while help her with something. Needless to say, she didn't need much help but on the rare occasion, it was a pleasure to stop by her desk! She was lovely and beautiful.

I knew Linda as we attended Seton Hall together from about 2003 to 2005 and we quickly became friends. We have kept in touch over the years from time to time by Facebook. It's Facebook that I kept up with her struggle as she battled cancer. I knew things did not look good then one day recently she was no longer connected to my Facebook and my heart just sank because I feared the worst. Today I goggled her name and confirmed the worst.
I am saddened by this news and she is the first person I know who has been affected by cancer. My prays go out to her family including her lovely children and her boyfriend Joe. My friend Linda thank you for being my friend while you were with us. You will never be forgotten.

I didnt know LInda and the Vitales all that well back in old bridge when i lived there(till like 1989), but what i did know of Linda, even more now than as a child, is that she was a sweet caring person and mom. she will be greatly missed and Heaven has a GreaT NEW ANGEL NOW! I pray for comfort and healing to her family and friends as only God can provide. r.i.p linda. and God Bles you and your family

My Sincere sympathy to Linda's family and Dear friends.
Three decades have gone by and we have been out of touch for years, but like it was yesterday 1979, I see clearly a young girl. Always beautiful, with a smile and heart as bright and warm as the sun, so full of life. A dear friend of mine, who I adored with all my heart. To read how brave you were and so loved does not surprise me in any way. I will remember you always, as I have been all these years.
