MADELINE LAESSIG GRIMALDI
AGE: 77 BAYVILLE
Madeline Laessig Grimaldi, 77, of Bayville, died Monday, Feb. 9, 2009, at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Born in Jersey City, she has been a resident of Bayville since 1979. Mrs. Grimaldi was employed with Eckhard Drug Store, Bayville branch for 23 years before she retired. Madeline was a communicant of St. Barnabas Church in Bayville and had been predeceased by her husband, Richard, in 2006.
Surviving are her children and their spouses, Richard Jr. and Sally Grimaldi, Donna and Jimmy Donohue, Michael Grimaldi, and Diana and Scott Comerferd; two brothers, Joseph Laessig and Charles Laessig; a sister, Kathleen Crosby; 11 grandchildren, Richard III, Andrew, Donald, Alissa, Kathleen, James, Michael Jr., Carin, Melissa, Charles, and Stefanie; and five great-grandchildren, Devin, Christopher, Nicholas, Alexander, and Lucas.
Visiting hours will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 12, 2009 at the Mastapeter Funeral Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd., Bayville. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 13, 2009 in St. Barnabas Church, Bayville. Burial will follow to St. Joseph's Cemetery, Toms River.

Rich, Donna, Michael and Diana: Sorry to hear about your mom passing away. I know it has been hard for her the last few years but also so rewarding times as the family members have grown. She will be in good company in heaven.
