AGE: 77 PORT MONMOUTH
Manuel August, 77, of Port Monmouth, died Friday, Nov. 26, 2010 at Riverview Medical Center. He was born in Newark, NJ. Manuel served in the United States Marine Corps. After his return, he moved to Florida and started his own chrome plating business.
He was predeceased by his parents, Manuel and Mildred August; a daughter, Pamela and a grandson, Robert. He is survived by his son, Michael August of Michigan and a daughter, Cynthia Wood of Florida; a brother and sister-in-law, William and Barbara August of Port Monmouth, with whom he resided; three sisters, Phyllis Smith Hinckley of Maine, Katie Quilban of Cliffwood Beach, Ginny Good of Keansburg; 4 grandsons, 1 great granchild, many nieces and nephews and his buddy, Anthony Sherman.
